Delonghi in Tuscany seeks a Mechanical Engineer to drive component and sub-assembly design through the New Product Development process, from specification to Start of Production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure feasible, robust designs and right-first-time outcomes.

The role focuses on CAD design (Siemens NX), design reviews, and DFMEA to balance performance, obsolescence, and cost.

Qualifications

• Experience designing mechanical components and systems.
• Proficient in Siemens NX 3D/2D CAD.
• Knowledge of mass production product development.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and evaluating test results.
• Ability to lead DFMEA documentation and BOM preparation.

Responsabilités

• Drive CAD design for parts and layouts (3D/2D).
• Lead DFMEA documentation and BOM preparation.
• Prepare feasibility studies with Industrial Design and R&D.
• Organize and participate in technical design reviews.
• Collaborate with R&D, Purchasing and moulding teams on costs and manufacturing processes.
• Support prototype testing and pre-production activities.
• Create and maintain component and sub-assembly specifications.
• Provide technical documentation for project status in reviews and NPD meetings.
