Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking a Market Development Manager to expand Cranial & Spinal technologies across Italy, Switzerland, and Austria. You will drive market development strategies, identify opportunities, and partner with Marketing, Sales, Clinical, Training, and Education teams to accelerate adoption and portfolio expansion.

You will analyze market dynamics, lead cross-functional projects, and engage with external stakeholders to improve procedure utilization and technology adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of market development, business development, or commercial excellence experience in medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Fluent in English and Italian; willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills; ability to work across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute market development strategies to accelerate adoption of Cranial & Spinal technologies in Italy & Alpine region.
• Identify market opportunities, unmet customer needs, and emerging trends to support growth.
• Collaborate with Sales Leadership to define commercialization plans for new products and services.
• Build relationships with KOLs, healthcare institutions, scientific societies, and academic partners.
• Lead customer engagement initiatives, educational programs, and awareness campaigns.
