LTH-Baas in Genoa, Italy, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead shipbuilding and marine projects through full lifecycle, including procurement, planning, execution, testing and handover.

The role requires hands-on leadership, coordinating piping, HVAC, interior/outfitting disciplines, on-site supervision, and close collaboration with shipyards, suppliers and clients. Domestic and international travel and on-board deployments are expected.

Competenze

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in shipbuilding, marine, or naval industries.
• Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle from procurement to commissioning.
• Broad technical knowledge across disciplines such as piping, HVAC, and interior/outfitting.
• Experience coordinating shipyards, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Willingness to travel frequently in Italy and abroad and work on board vessels.

Mansioni

• Manage shipbuilding and marine projects through the complete lifecycle from procurement to handover.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones and resource plans.
• Coordinate procurement activities, suppliers, subcontractors, manpower and material deliveries.
• Supervise and coordinate on-site works including onboard and dry-dock activities.
• Coordinate different technical disciplines, including piping, HVAC, interior/outfitting and other shipbuilding works.
• Ensure effective communication between clients, shipyards, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress, costs, quality and contractual requirements.
• Identify risks, delays and issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate testing, inspections, commissioning activities and final handover.
