BDP International in Italy seeks a Projects and Heavy Lift Transport Manager to lead project cargo and heavy lift movements, coordinating planning, routes, lifting studies, and execution across land, sea, and air.

You will collaborate with vendors and subcontractors, monitor cargo movements, uphold safety and regulatory standards, manage documentation and budgeting, and provide timely updates to clients and management.

Competenze

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years working experience with minimum 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding industry.
• 1–3 years’ experience in project logistics or related heavy transport operations.

Mansioni

• Provides the organization of the work to be carried out on Project cargo loading.
• Coordinate daily operations for project cargo and heavy lift shipments (land, sea, or air).
• Prepare and review transportation plans, route surveys, lifting studies, and method statements.
• Work closely with vendors and subcontractors for equipment availability, pricing, and scheduling.
• Monitor cargo movements, resolve on-ground challenges, and keep clients updated.
• Ensure full compliance with safety, legal, and operational standards.
