Job summary

Bridgestone Europe, Middle East and Africa (BSEMEA) is seeking a B-ME Manager in Modugno, Italy to lead manufacturing excellence initiatives. You will drive lean manufacturing practices, manage continuous improvement projects, and coordinate training to elevate plant performance and safety across production lines.

The role requires 5–7 years in manufacturing with strong Lean/Six Sigma backgrounds and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean) a plus.
• 5–7 years in manufacturing with Lean/Six Sigma experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Plant Manager to align on goals and drive plant-wide initiatives.
• Lead data-driven monitoring of KPIs and report to leadership.
• Direct continuous improvement programs to boost OEE, reduce downtime, and optimize processes.
• Lead training and certification of staff in manufacturing techniques and problem-solving.
• Oversee and manage projects to ensure timely, budget-conscious completion.
• Support safety programs to reduce incidents and ensure compliance.
