Job summary
Bridgestone Europe, Middle East and Africa (BSEMEA) seeks a hands-on Technical Service role in Rome to support continuous improvement across tire building, quality and uniformity. You will autonomously develop activities with supervision, focusing on new products, tire spec evaluation and industrialization to reduce waste and improve product quality.
You will join cross-functional teams, drive measurement technology development, and implement process improvements and standardized setups to
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Desirable: tech service experience in tire industry or equivalent in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of tire technology and manufacturing processes; familiarity with quality tools (5 Why, 8D, Fishbone).
Responsibilities
- Roadmap implementation for tire production improvements.
- Support Roma Plant/Advanced Workshop manufacturing processes.
- Optimize machine setup and tire spec verification.
- Lead cross-functional teams in early product design phases.
- Develop inspection tools and data-driven process improvements.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
