Baker Hughes in Italy (Toscana, Firenze) seeks a Manufacturing Experienced Professional - Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to own development, maintenance and improvement of processes critical to the manufacturing of core products. The role centers on welding processes for impellers and integration with digital and automation technologies.

You will lead cross-functional teams, solve complex technical problems on production lines, and support New Product Development and New Energy Solution

Competenze

• Master degree in Engineering or technical education with manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of welding technologies, especially Laser Welding, and robotic automation.
• Basic knowledge of machining and turbomachinery components (CC Rotors).
• Fluent in Italian; basic English; EU work permit.

Mansioni

• Select technology, manage shop routings, and improve processes and equipment.
• Ensure safety and quality in manufacturing through risk-based thinking and policy compliance.
• Lead development and qualification of new welding processes and related capabilities.
• Evaluate processes and drive strategic projects to improve HSE, quality, and productivity.
• Integrate digital transformation and advanced process capability into manufacturing processes.
• Control direct labour costs and support cost definitions for offers.
• Support NPD and New Energy Solution projects at Turbomachinery level and deployment in cells.
