Baker Hughes is seeking a Manufacturing Experienced Professional - Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to own and improve manufacturing processes for centrifugal impellers. You will resolve complex technical issues on production lines and lead welding process development, with a strong focus on HSE, quality and productivity.

You will work across global functions, apply digital transformation and support New Product Development and New Energy Solutions within Turbomachinery.

Competenze

• Master degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Knowledge of welding technologies, especially laser welding, and its robotic applications.
• Basic knowledge of machining.
• Basic knowledge of turbomachinery components, CC Rotors.
• Strong focus on Health, Safety and Environmental practices.

• Own the development, maintenance and improvement of manufacturing processes for core products.
• Solve complex technical problems arising in manufacturing; lead projects to implement improvements.
• Lead development and qualification of new welding processes.

As Manufacturing Experienced Professional - Manufacturing Engineering Specialist , you will be the owner for the development, maintenance, and improvement of processes critical to the manufacturing of our core products.

In fact, the working area for this role is the production lines of Centrifugal Compressors Impellers.

You will provide support to solve complex technical problems that arise during the manufacturing process. Working with leading-edge technology, you will make key decisions, resolve issues and oversee projects to shape enhancements.

You willl unite cross-functional teams to connect, share knowledge, innovate and to develop improvements. You'll focus on welding processes applied to Impellers production.

As a Manufacturing Experienced Professional - Manufacturing Engineering Specialist , you will be responsible for:

• Take care of technology selection, Shop Routings emission and Processes & Equipment improvement.

• Deal with Safety and Quality in manufacturing activities through risk-based thinking and full compliance to standards and policies.

• Lead the development and qualification of new processes in welding area.

• Evaluate manufacturing processes and shape strategic projects and initiatives to improve HSE, Quality, Processes Capabilities, Fulfillment and Productivity.

• Integrate digital transformation, advanced process capability and material handling concepts into the manufacturing processes.

• Direct labour cost control and handbook update to support commercial team for costs definition and offers.

• Support the New Product Development and New Energy Solution projects at Turbomachinery level, and their deployment within the Cell.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Master Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or a Technical education and background with demonstrated experience in Manufacturing environment.

• Possess a good knowledge of welding technologies (in particular, Laser Welding) and its automatic application through robotics.

• Have a basic knowledge of machining.

• Have a basic knowledge of Turbomachinery components, with focus on CC Rotors.

• Be high conscious of Health, Safety and Environmental practices.

• Be able to analyse problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions.

• Be able to work effectively across functions in a global-matrix environment.

• Be fluent in Italian language, basic knowledge in English; hold an EU work permit.

• Have strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work independently. Strong problem solving skills.

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 38,605 To 59,000. The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
