Job summary

Rotork PLC in Porcari, Italy seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead design, implementation and documentation of shop floor processes, driving efficiency across the factory during a period of transformation.

You will work with production managers, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean methods and VBA tooling to enhance performance, with strong teamwork and analytical mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience using CAD software (Solid Edge).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
• Experience working in an engineering manufacturing environment involving electromechanical products.
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).
• Good command of the English language (B1–B2 level) and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Design, implementation, and documentation of shop floor manufacturing processes.
• Participate in audits, provide technical support, and be involved in problem analysis and resolution.
• Propose new processes and equipment whenever appropriate and beneficial.
• Driven by problem-solving and delivering improvements with strong teamwork and attention to detail.
