Job summary

L’Oréal in Settimo Torinese, Italy, is seeking a Production Engineer to support and optimize production processes while upholding the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards.

You will act as a key connector between departments, analyze data to improve plant indicators, follow up on production planning and collaborate with operations, quality control, maintenance and engineering to achieve shared goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field) is required.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Italian and good knowledge of English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration with Performance, Quality and Safety Departments, ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations and procedures and promoting a safe working environment.
• Embrace a culture of continuous improvement, supporting the continuous improvement projects in the production department.
• Analysis of department indicators, such as production progress, waste, quality, and safety indicators.
• Follow up and support production planning management.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality control, maintenance, and engineering, to achieve common goals.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret production data maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to the production.
