Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Italy is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support the plant maintenance team. You will manage spare-parts stock, analyze failures, and help implement maintenance policies defined by the central maintenance team while supporting standardization projects.

You will share standards with the production value chain and international regions, develop Maintenance 2.0 programs, and contribute to machine-improvement and quality-oriented maintenance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and data management.
• Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of CMMS systems is preferred.
• Fluent Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• SPARE PARTS: review and monitor warehouse spare‑parts stock in support of the production value chain.
• MACHINE PERFORMANCE: manage and analyze failures, support improvement plans, and develop maintenance policies.
• STANDARDIZATION PROJECTS: verify compliance with and application of maintenance standards, develop cost‑containment strategies, and perform make‑or‑buy analyses.
• STANDARDS AND BEST‑PRACTICE SHARING: work with the production value chain and international regions to share production and maintenance standards.
• SPECIAL PROJECTS: develop Maintenance 2.0 programs and initiatives, machine‑improvement programs, and quality‑oriented maintenance programs.

Your role
