Thrive It Systems in Bari, Italy, is seeking a Mainframe Developer for a fulltime/permanent position. You will translate business objectives into technical requirements, guide developers, and ensure compliance with schedules.

The role requires incident handling/L3 support experience, familiarity with file interfaces and protocols, and strong independent work and communication skills. You will work in a structured, analytical environment and adapt to changes.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

• Work closely with product owners to understand and translate business objectives into technical requirements
• Analyzing new change requests design solutions and guide developers in implementation
• Supporting the development teams and supervising the design testing and modification stages
• Keep track of compliance requirements and adhere to the schedule
• Expert in finding root causes for incidents bugs and help in getting to permanent solutions of recurring incidents

Preferred background

• Experience of Incident handling and problem solving in a L3 support team
• Experience in projects dealing with File interfaces and protocols
• Service minded and takes responsibility within relevant working areas
• Able to work independently and to quickly pick up necessary knowledge and technologies
• Good at communicating actively appreciating and respecting diversity in the work environment
• Working in a structured and analytical way
• Ability to adapt and react to changes
