Thrive It Systems in Bari, Italy is seeking a Mainframe Developer to bridge business objectives and technical solutions. You will collaborate with product owners, translate requirements, and guide developers through design, testing and deployment.

The role requires strong incident handling, problem solving in L3 support, experience with file interfaces and protocols, and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively in a diverse team.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

• Work closely with product owners to understand and translate business objectives into technical requirements
• Analyzing new change requests design solutions and guide developers in implementation
• Supporting the development teams and supervising the design testing and modification stages
• Keep track of compliance requirements and adhere to the schedule
• Expert in finding root causes for incidents bugs and help in getting to permanent solutions of recurring incidents

Preferred background

• Experience of Incident handling and problem solving in a L3 support team
• Experience in projects dealing with File interfaces and protocols
• Service minded and takes responsibility within relevant working areas
• Able to work independently and to quickly pick up necessary knowledge and technologies
• Good at communicating actively appreciating and respecting diversity in the work environment
• Working in a structured and analytical way
• Ability to adapt and react to changes
