Job summary

Azienda Anonima Retail's flagship store in Rome is seeking a Store Manager to lead a high-performing team, deliver exceptional customer experience, and drive sales targets.

You will oversee daily operations, manage inventory and staffing, and act as a role model on the shop floor. Fluent English and 5+ years in premium or luxury retail are expected; a permanent, full-time contract with a €35,000–€40,000 gross annual salary.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Store Manager in a ready-to-wear retail brand, premium or luxury level.
• Experience in all aspects of store management and exceptional customer-oriented interactions to create outstanding customer service experiences.
• Leadership skills and the ability to build, manage, and collaborate within a team, with strong organizational abilities.
• Strong communication skills, effective in interacting with the team, colleagues, and senior management.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote and delivers excellent in customer in-store experience.
• Ensure that the team understands customer needs, providing consistently high-quality service.
• Ensure the team’s excellence in selling techniques and styling ability.
• Be active and present on the shop floor, acting as a role model and engaging with customers and team members.
• Monitor and analyze sales analytics, budgets, and forecasts to optimize performance.
• Provide clear daily, weekly and monthly sales targets with the team, and follow up on achievement.
• Provide hierarchy with clear and regular insights regarding store performance.
• Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management and cash handling, in compliance with company policies.
• Communicates efficiently within the company about store needs for support and opportunities for business acceleration.
• Manage staff scheduling, ensuring appropriate staff coverage.
• Lead, inspire and support the store team, fostering high energy, motivation and a strong spirit of teamwork.
• Foster a culture of constructive feedback and ensure the policies are understood by all team members.
