Job summary

Castello di Casole, a Belmond Hotel, is seeking a passionate Kitchen Commis to support culinary operations in a luxury Tuscan setting. You will assist the Chef de Partie and senior kitchen team in daily prep, cooking, and presentation of fresh, high-quality dishes for our guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in luxury hotels or fine dining.
• Basic culinary knowledge and a passion for quality ingredients.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work fast-paced shifts.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and eagerness to learn from senior chefs.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chef de Partie and senior kitchen team in daily prep and execution.
• Assist with preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling and storage of all food items.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and properly care for equipment.
• Assist with stock management, deliveries, and ingredient rotation.
• Contribute to sustainability initiatives and reduce food waste.
• Comply with hygiene, safety, and sanitary standards including HACCP.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
