The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is seeking a Reservations Clerk to join the Reservations Department – Sales. This role involves handling requests, changes, and cancellations with a focus on guest satisfaction and revenue growth.

Ideal candidates will speak English and Italian fluently, have front office experience in luxury hospitality, and understand room operations.

Competenze

• Excellent communication skills in English and Italian, written and spoken.
• Experience in Reservations/Front Office is a big plus.
• Understanding of rooms operations and luxury hospitality.

Mansioni

• Process all reservation requests, changes and cancellations by phone or mail.
• Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type and rate.
• Explain guarantees, policies and special rates to callers; document special requests.
• Input and access data in the reservation system; follow sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Maintain professional appearance and comply with company policies and procedures.
