The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Venice, seeks a Guest Experience Supervisor (Front Desk) to oversee front desk operations, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional guest service. You will manage payments, coordinate with other departments, and uphold brand standards in a luxury setting.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of luxury Front Office experience, fluent English and Italian, and strong storytelling and communication skills.

Competenze

• Legal right to work in Italy and a full-time work permit (40 hours/week).
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Great storytelling skills.
• Previous Front Office experience in luxury hotels (3+ years).
• Knowledge of Opera PMS.
• Warm, people-oriented demeanor and a team-first attitude.
• Positive outlook and outgoing personality.
• Flexibility, multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods.

Mansioni

• Oversee front desk operations during a shift, supervising staff and handling guest issues.
• Manage daily administrative and financial tasks and ensure effective information flow across departments.
• Coordinate with Concierge and Housekeeping to address guest requests and room readiness.
• Process payments, balance cash, and set up guest accounts with accurate billing.
• Train and coach staff, fostering teamwork and excellent service.
• Maintain professional communication and uphold safety and policies.
