Hermès Rome boutique seeks a Department Manager to partner with the Store Manager, leading the team to deliver exceptional client experiences and uphold Hermès standards. You will guide people development, recruit in collaboration with leadership, and drive the department’s sales through strategic action plans.

You will coach on data quality, clienteling, and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring flawless operations and a high-energy, customer-centric atmosphere on the sales floor.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree preferably with a hospitality or fashion management focus.
• Fluency in Italian and English; third language is a plus.
• Professional background: strong management experience, ideally international and luxury fashion retail.
• Proficient with Excel / IT tools.

Mansioni

• Plan daily activities, set objectives, and assign tasks to the team.
• Observe the floor, give feedback, coach, and develop team members.
• Participate in recruitment in line with HR strategy.
• Induct new arrivals and integrate them into the team.
• Conduct Annual Performance Appraisal and propose development plans.
• Drive sales through team, develop business strategy, enhance client culture, and manage complaints.
• Plan briefings, ensure team involvement, and coach on data accuracy and client reachability.
• Collaborate with store management to improve end-to-end processes and in-store experience.
