Job summary

Six Senses Rome is seeking a Sous Chef who will align with our vision of local sensitivity and global sensibility, supporting the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine to deliver exceptional culinary experiences in a luxury setting.

You will guide kitchen hosts, ensure food safety and portion control, monitor presentations, and contribute to training, guest satisfaction, and profitability while upholding Six Senses' standards.

Qualifications

• Formal culinary training or hospitality education as applicable.
• Fluent Italian and good English are required.
• Alcohol awareness certification or food service permit as required.
• Experience in luxury hotel kitchens preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine to operate kitchen efficiently.
• Rejuvenate the culinary experience and ensure quality of dishes.
• Ensure portion control, presentation, and adherence to standards.
• Oversee training and development of kitchen hosts.
• Monitor hygiene, safety, and budget considerations.
