Job summary

BDP International in Lombardia seeks a logistics coordinator to manage coordination and execution of customer orders, ensuring adherence to procedures and ethics. You will communicate with customers, agents, and warehouses to resolve issues, and support offshoring initiatives by drafting SOPs.

The role requires 2–3 years in logistics or a logistics degree, with solid Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of forwarding operations and regulations. Italian locale preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience of logistics and forwarding operations/regulations and documentation or Degree in Logistics.
• Preferable a professional degree by a licensed educational institution specialized in logistics and forwarding.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Software applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute customer orders in line with PSA BDP ethics and procedures.
• Communicate updates to customers and partners; handle anomalies and disputes.
• Liaise with warehouses and subcontractors to ensure timely movement of goods.
• Provide corrective and preventive recommendations as needed.
• Create SOPs to support offshoring processes and monitor service quality.

Scope

Coordination and execution of customer orders in accordance with their requirements and/or procedures based on PSA BDP Ethics

Responsibilities

• Contact with the dedicated customer for instructions / reminder
• Processing of agent and early warning messages(network contact)
• Communicate information to customers and partners in parallel
• Handling of anomalies / disputes
• Proposal for corrective and preventive measures
• Contact with the warehouse and other subcontractors
• Duty to inform and advise the customer on the formalities of international movement of goods
• Duty to communicate the information of the files in charge to his hierarchical manager
• Monitoring the quality of service center services.
• Create SOP’s when require to support the offshoring process.
• Trouble shooting to proactively find suitable solutions in time and manner to the customer
