Do IT Now in Turin, Italy, is hiring a proactive Linux Systems Administrator to join our HPC support team. The role covers installation, configuration, and maintenance of HPC systems based on Linux, and entails designing cluster architectures and ensuring performance.

You will work with application and system engineers, travel for business as needed, and may remote-work from anywhere in Italy after probation. Fluent English and Italian are expected, with 5+ years of experience.

Competenze

• High school diploma or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Fluent English and Italian.
• Good knowledge of Linux Enterprise distributions (RedHat EL, SLES, etc.)
• Knowledge Backup and Scripting with Bash and Python.

Mansioni

• Install, configure and maintain HPC systems based on GNU/Linux.
• Design and configure HPC cluster architectures, including servers, storage, interconnects and queue managers.
• Identify advanced solutions and install/configure HPC applications; develop performance improvements.
• Provide client/user training and work with application and system engineers.
