Job summary

GVS Group in Italy is seeking a Sales Area Manager to lead Life Sciences sales across Nordics and Eastern Europe, building strong relationships with distributors and end customers to drive growth.

You will develop distributor networks, train partners, analyze market data, and collaborate with marketing and product teams. English fluency is required; Italian and German are a plus. Willingness to travel ~50% is expected.

Qualifications

• University degree or above in engineering, life sciences, or business-related disciplines.
• At least 5 years of life science sales experience with distributors and end customers.
• Proven track record in managing and developing distributor networks in life sciences.
• Fluent English; Italian and German are a plus.
• Willingness to travel about 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage distributor relationships and identify new partners in Nordics and Eastern Europe.
• Train and motivate distributors to improve sales performance and meet targets.
• Develop sales strategies and market insights for Nordics and Eastern Europe.
• Perform pricing, costing, and quoting with the technical team and close deals.
• Collaborate with marketing, technical, and product management teams; report on sales performance.
