Oerlikon Group in Brugherio, Italy, seeks a motivated Process Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing processes and lean methodologies. You will work with Operations and Engineering to support continuous improvement and optimize production processes and facility layouts.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree student or recent graduate in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Team-oriented mindset and effective communication.

Responsabilidades

• Support the design and optimization of production layouts, applying Lean Manufacturing principles to improve workflow and efficiency.
• Assist in managing relationships with suppliers and coordinating project-related activities.
• Support the resolution of technical issues and contribute to the implementation of process improvements.
• Conduct time and motion studies and analyze production data to identify opportunities for increased productivity and waste reduction.
• Monitor the progress of continuous improvement initiatives and prepare reports on project performance and results.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of standardized work processes and operational best practices.
