Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Production Manager to lead the manufacturing operations across the assigned value stream, driving safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and develop people, delivering outstanding customer outcomes while upholding the values of innovation, integrity, collaboration, and inclusion.

Responsibilities include planning and executing production plans with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing, operations, or value stream management.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across the value stream to meet safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and financial goals.
• Develop and execute production plans with cross-functional partners.
• Ensure efficient use of resources and compliance with safety standards.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean and operational excellence methods.
• Coach and develop team members; prioritize work with supervisors.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, implement corrective actions for on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
• Oversee external contractors and ensure site safety and quality standards.
• Support budget management and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Execute long-term plans to advance operational excellence.
