Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience leading lean manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and driving organizational change.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management across functions and levels.
• Experience applying root cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and performance metrics.
• Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Italian.
• Legal authorization to work in Italy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and employee engagement across the manufacturing organization.
• Develop and execute lean manufacturing strategies aligned with business objectives and site priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and other methodologies.
• Lead the manufacturing engineering team in identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, safety, and productivity.
• Partner with operations, quality, supply chain, maintenance, and product engineering to optimize processes and workflows.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure operational performance and continuous improvement outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for automation, digitalization, and process innovation to support long-term growth.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Support capital investment projects, equipment selection, and facility improvements.
• Develop standardized manufacturing processes, work instructions, and best practices to ensure consistency.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members, fostering learning, collaboration, accountability, and growth.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to share best practices and enterprise-wide improvements.
