Impulso.Space in Italy seeks a Systems Engineer to lead the architecture for upcoming rideshare launch missions. You will define system requirements, ensure compatibility between payloads, deployers and launch vehicles, and support internal projects with rigorous interface management.

The role requires a Master’s in a related field, 3+ years in space, fluent English and Italian, and proficiency with CATIA, NX, Creo or SolidWorks.

Competenze

Master’s degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years in space industry as System Engineer or related with technical ownership.
Fluent in English and Italian (spoken and written).
Proficient with 3D CAD tools CATIA/NX/Creo/SolidWorks.
Willingness to travel internationally for campaigns.

Mansioni

Translate mission objectives into detailed technical specifications and system requirements.
Provide systems engineering support for internal projects and interface management.
Draft and maintain ICDs, defining interfaces between payloads, deployers and launch vehicles.
Validate safety data, mission analyses, and adherence to launch constraints.
Support design reviews (PDR/CDR/SRR) and resolve design non-conformities.
Ensure compliance with space engineering standards and launch provider requirements.
