AVIO seeks a Launch Vehicle System Engineer in Colleferro, Italy to lead system-level definition, evolution and qualification of the VEGA-C launch system. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams across propulsion, structures, avionics, software and GNC, ensuring coherence with architecture and mission objectives.

We expect 3–8 years in aerospace, strong systems engineering experience, and fluency in English (French is a plus).

Competenze

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent; PhD is a plus.
• 3–8 years in aerospace; systems engineer or related technical development.
• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering and lifecycle management.

Mansioni

• Lead system-level integration of propulsion, structures, avionics and software.
• Define and manage launcher interfaces and technical requirements.
• Coordinate verification, qualification and mission preparation activities.
• Interface with customers, ESA, CNES and partners during development.
