Job summary

Thales Alenia Space in Rome is looking for a Space Propulsion Designer to define architectures and lead co-engineering efforts across the project lifecycle. You will balance stakeholder expectations with technical feasibility, document architecture decisions, and support the development of system and segment design documents.

The role calls for 6–11 years of experience, a permanent contract, and active collaboration with customers and international teams within a leading space engineering group.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Define and recommend architectures to satisfy stakeholder expectations according to standards and roadmaps.
• Establish the solution architecture by trading off stakeholder needs, technical options, costs, risks and schedule.
• Assist in the solution development cycle and define the co-engineering approach.
• Manage lifecycle requirements, performance evaluation, interfaces, and technical negotiations among stakeholders.
