Job summary

Nestlé Purina Italy seeks a Lead Project Engineer, Logistics Automation, to lead the engineering, implementation, commissioning, and handover of a highly automated distribution center as part of a greenfield Mantova project. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure integration across logistics, manufacturing, utilities, digital systems and site operations.

Qualifications

University degree in engineering disciplines (Logistics, Automation, Mechanical, Processes, Industrial engineering or similar).
Fluency in English is required. Good level of Italian would be a plus.
In-depth knowledge of logistics, automation engineering and digital logistics operations.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate engineering, implementation, commissioning, operational readiness, ramp-up, and handover of a highly automated logistics project.
Ensure fulfillment center, manufacturing ops, utilities, infrastructure, digital systems and material flows are integrated and ready for operation.
Coordinate internal and external teams, suppliers, contractors, integrators, operations and maintenance throughout the project lifecycle.
