Energy Dome is seeking a Mechanical Team Lead to steer the Mechanical Engineering team on utility-scale energy storage projects. You will coordinate static equipment, mechanical design, piping engineering and stress analysis, ensuring safety, quality and reliability across deliverables.

The role involves collaborating with Process, Plant Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning teams to drive projects from early engineering through manufacturing and site start-up.

Competenze

• Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering within EPC, industrial plants, power generation, renewable energy or process industries.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary mechanical engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of international design codes and standards (ASME, PED, API, EN, TEMA).
• Experience with pressure equipment calculations and engineering software such as PVElite, Compress or similar.
• Knowledge of CAESAR II or similar pipe stress software is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on attitude with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness for occasional international travel.

• Lead, mentor and coordinate the Mechanical Engineering team across disciplines.
• Plan and supervise mechanical engineering activities across multiple international EPC projects.
• Ensure timely delivery and quality of engineering documentation, calculations and drawings.
• Review and approve mechanical designs, equipment calculations and specifications.
• Support mechanical design of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks and piping systems.
• Coordinate interfaces with Process, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Procurement and Construction teams.
• Prepare and review technical specs, datasheets and material requisitions.
• Lead supplier evaluations, RFQs, design reviews and vendor documentation approvals.
• Provide engineering support during manufacturing, FATs, construction and commissioning.
• Resolve technical issues and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes.
