Descrizione del lavoro

Energy Dome provides power and capacity at utility scale. Our CO₂ Battery, the core of our technology platform, is a proven long-duration energy storage solution, already operating and contracted across three continents.

Right now, we're scaling fast across engineering, project delivery, operations and commercial teams globally. Energy Dome is an infrastructure company — our projects get built, our plants get commissioned, and the power we deliver is measured in gigawatt-hours, not press releases.

If you want to work on energy systems that matter — and will run for decades — this is the place to build the next chapter of your career.

About the Role

We're looking for a Mechanical Team Lead to lead our Mechanical Engineering team and drive the execution of all mechanical engineering activities across our utility-scale energy storage projects. You will be responsible for coordinating a multidisciplinary team covering Static Equipment, Mechanical Design, Piping Engineering and Pipe Stress Analysis, ensuring that engineering deliverables meet the highest standards of safety, quality, reliability and technical excellence.

Working closely with Process Engineering, Plant Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning teams, you will play a key role in delivering our projects from early engineering through manufacturing, site execution and plant commissioning.

This is a hands‑on technical leadership role for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges while helping build and develop a growing engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor and coordinate the Mechanical Engineering team, including Static Equipment, Mechanical Design, Piping Design and Stress Analysis disciplines
  • Plan and supervise mechanical engineering activities across multiple international EPC projects
  • Ensure the timely delivery and technical quality of engineering documentation, calculations, drawings and project deliverables
  • Review and approve mechanical designs, equipment calculations and engineering specifications
  • Support the mechanical design of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, piping systems and other mechanical equipment
  • Coordinate technical interfaces with Process, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Procurement and Construction teams
  • Prepare and review technical specifications, datasheets and material requisitions
  • Lead technical evaluations of suppliers, including RFQs, technical bid evaluations, design reviews and vendor documentation approval
  • Provide engineering support during manufacturing, inspections, FATs, construction, commissioning and plant start‑up activities
  • Resolve technical issues arising during project execution and promote continuous improvement across engineering processes and standards
What We're Looking for
  • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering within EPC, industrial plants, power generation, renewable energy or process industries.
  • Previous experience leading multidisciplinary mechanical engineering teams.
  • Good knowledge of international design codes and standards, including ASME, PED, API, EN and TEMA.
  • Experience with pressure equipment calculations and engineering software such as PVElite, Compress or similar. Knowledge of CAESAR II or equivalent pipe stress software is considered a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands‑on attitude, problem‑solving mindset and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Availability for occasional international travel.
