Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Lead Materials Planner for a 12-month maternity cover in Italy. You will collaborate with regional sales and operations to develop 12–18 month forecasts and convert demand into orders, while optimizing inventory and coordinating with product lines to meet customer requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field and 5+ years of experience, with strong SAP and MRP skills.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in supply chain planning or similar role.
Experience in order management, inventory optimization and management.
Intermediate knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality.
Ability to work with and influence stakeholders.
Strategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

Create regional (12–18 months) and global forecasts with sales and operations.
Convert demand plans into orders and align with product/rationalization strategies.
Drive S&OP process consistency and execution.
Analyze demand, identify exceptions and inventory opportunities.
Schedule orders to meet customer requirements while minimizing costs.
Prioritize delivery dates with cross-functional teams.
