Job summary

Aligned Data Centers in Lazio is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to anchor the Advanced Cooling Lab, bridging theoretical thermal physics with real‑world hyperscale cooling infrastructure. You will oversee physical empirical testing of next‑generation cooling technologies and direct the development of virtual system models.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Expert knowledge of heat transfer, fluids, thermodynamics.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or Cadence.
• Strong communication and stakeholder presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct lab operations, safety, and test plans for cooling hardware.
• Lead digital twin development and calibration with telemetry data.
• Collaborate on incident RCAs and R&D for new cooling methods.
• Lead client demos and clearly explain thermodynamics concepts.
