Mane Contract Services are recruiting for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join a major data centre project in Milan, Italy. This full‑time role offers a hands-on leadership position across electrical design, installation, commissioning and handover, with long‑term stability and career development in Europe.

You will lead the electrical engineering activities, coordinate with project teams, clients and vendors, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring designs are robust and compliant.

Competenze

• 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• 7+ years' project engineering experience, preferably within construction.
• Experience with LV and MV electrical systems.
• Data Centre, Commercial, Industrial or Pharmaceutical environments experience.
• Knowledge of BS7671, ETCI, Building Regulations, EN and IEC standards.
• Experience with Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD 2D, Adobe Pro and MS Office.
• Strong client, vendor, contractor and design team management.
• Strong commercial awareness and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to lead and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong focus on EHS, quality and work management processes.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers.

Mansioni

• Lead electrical engineering and design management throughout the project.
• Review electrical designs, identify gaps, clashes and risks.
• Validate cable sizing and electrical solutions.
• Prepare and manage electrical submittals and approvals.
• Coordinate equipment procurement, delivery and compliance.
• Liaise with BIM and construction teams to ensure constructible designs.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and graduates.
