Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Duty Pharmacy Manager to lead a team, deliver NHS and private services, and provide excellent patient care. You will help drive community health initiatives and support the Pharmacy Manager in staff development and relationships with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required.
• Passion for leading and empowering a team.
• GPhC registration and willingness to join PVG scheme; we assist.
• DBS check will be organised by us before employment.

Responsibilities

• Supply prescriptions and deliver NHS and Private services with healthcare advice.
• Advise and support the community on health issues as part of our charity program (cancer, heart disease, diabetes).
• Support Pharmacy Manager to lead, train and develop colleagues.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries.
• Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items.
