Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Duty Pharmacy Manager to lead a team and deliver high-quality pharmaceutical services to our communities. You will supervise and train staff, ensure safe dispensing, and contribute to charitable health initiatives in partnership with Tesco’s healthcare programs.

You will maintain strong links with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries, oversee NHS payment processes, and support the Pharmacy Manager in driving service excellence and community wellbeing.

Qualifications

• GPhC registration is required and PVG scheme may be required.
• You’ll complete a DBS check arranged by us.
• Passionate about leading and empowering a team.
• Pharmacy degree holder.

Responsibilities

• Supply prescriptions and NHS/private services and advise customers.
• Lead and develop colleagues in partnership with the Pharmacy Manager.
• Build relationships with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries.
• Ensure accurate NHS payments and claims.
