Baker Hughes is seeking a Control System Lead Engineer to shape the architecture for Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Compressor control systems in our Industry & Energy Technology team.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, define safety-driven control philosophies and ensure compliance with IEC61508/IEC61511, while travelling up to 10% for customers and tests. Fluent English required.

Competenze

• BSc or MSc in Control, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Management or Computer Science Engineering.
• Proficient in Control System design and related development tools; knowledge of industry codes and standards.
• Familiar with PLC architecture, computer networks, and industrial Safety principles.
• Have developed interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and motivate others.
• Be able and willing to travel worldwide up to 10% of the time for customer meetings and/or site/test bed support.
• Be fluent in spoken and written English.

Mansioni

• Define Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Compressor control systems architecture based on projects requirements and the application of international standards (e.g. ATEX, CSA, NEC/NEMA, IECex)
• Define the Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Compressor Package Control philosophy, based on internal standard and tailored for specific Customer needs
• Define and verify functional safety requirements of Control System architecture based on internal and international standards (IEC61508 and IEC61511)
• Collaborating the detailed control hardware and software design, by interacting with other engineering specialists, suppliers, Customers.
• Optimizing and simplifying the internal standard solutions and design tools, promoting, and developing new ideas
