TR2 SRLS is seeking a talented computer vision/ML engineer in Rome to design and deploy advanced CV and AI pipelines for industrial and sensing applications. You will lead algorithm development from prototyping to real-world deployment.

This core technical role focuses on remote sensing, industrial inspection, and environmental monitoring, taking research concepts to deployed products while mentoring junior engineers.

Competenze

• MSc/PhD in Computer Science, CV, ML or related field.
• 4+ years in computer vision or deep learning.
• Strong Python and ML framework expertise (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Experience with CNNs, transformers and detection/segmentation frameworks.
• Experience deploying ML models in production environments.
• Familiarity with MLOps (Docker, CI/CD, model versioning).

Mansioni

• Design, develop and optimise computer vision algorithms for sensing applications.
• Lead the technical architecture of vision-based products from prototype to production.
• Implement and evaluate models for detection, segmentation, classification and tracking.
• Develop data pipelines for satellite, drone and ground imagery.
• Collaborate on EU-funded R&D projects involving AI and sensing.
• Perform model training, validation and optimisation on real-world datasets.
• Ensure code quality, documentation and reproducibility; mentor engineers.
