Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team, a Red Bull-owned Formula 1 team, seeks a Junior Stress Engineer to ensure reliable modelling and stress analysis of car components. You will build FE models, generate Stress Reports, and support Senior Engineers in damage investigations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Understanding of carbon and metal structures at academic level.
• Strong knowledge of theory behind FEA.
• Usage and knowledge of FE pre/processing (Altair Hypermesh/Optistruct, Abaqus).
• Basic knowledge of CAD system (NX is a plus).
• Knowledge of current manufacturing processes and material science.
• Ability to work with the team and colleagues.
• Initiative, proactive and Innovation.

Responsibilities

• Perform FE and hand-calculation stress analyses for car components under a Senior Stress Engineer, documenting results.
• Support the Team Leader in damage and defect investigations.
• Proactively review current calculation methods for sizing car components.
• Carry out structural analyses compliant with the Analysis Procedure.
• Build positive working relationships within the department and across other functions.
• Contribute to an open, collaborative, and improvement-oriented team culture.
• Maintain professionalism and support a positive image of the department, team, and sponsors.
• Take initiative in developing skills, seeking guidance from senior colleagues, and applying feedback.
