Job summary

Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team seeks an experienced Stress Engineer to ensure structural components meet design and performance specs. You will perform analyses (FEA/hand), support design release, and contribute to continuous stress-methodology improvements, with trackside support as needed.

Responsibilities include validation, data collection across departments, and maintaining documentation. Travel up to one week per month and an equal-opportunity employer stance are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of FEA theory and stress analysis.
• Extensive senior-level stress analysis experience.
• Proficient in FE preprocessing/solving (Hypermesh/Optistruct, Abaqus).
• Siemens NX knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with CNC/DMLS manufacturing processes.
• Willingness to travel up to one week per month.
• Prior engineering experience in F1 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress analyses (FEA and hand calculations) from design to part release with clear reports.
• Oversee and coordinate other Stress Analysts on related tasks.
• Support root-cause investigations and provide timely analysis.
• Collaborate with departments to gather input data across the project lifecycle.
• Monitor in-service behaviour, conduct tests, and follow service life.
• Create and maintain test procedures for structural validation.
• Support track load definitions and related documentation.
• Provide occasional trackside support during race weekends or testing.
• Develop stress methodology and improve sizing methods with the team.
• Maintain cross-functional relationships and meet timelines with professionalism.
