Job summary

Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team is seeking a motivated Junior Stress Engineer to perform FE analyses on car components and build models with clear Stress Reports under a Senior Engineer's guidance. You will contribute to reliable design and support damage investigations.

The role covers structural analysis, hand calculations, teamwork and continuous improvement in sizing methods, in an international, dynamic environment with tailored training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering master’s degree.
• Understanding of carbon and metal structures at academic level.
• Strong knowledge of theory behind FEA.
• Usage and knowledge of FE pre/processing (Altair Hypermesh/Optistruct, Abaqus).
• Basic knowledge of CAD system (NX is a plus).
• Knowledge of current manufacturing processes and material science.
• Ability to work with the team and colleagues.
• Initiative, proactive and Innovation.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress analyses (FEA, hand-calcs) for car components under guidance.
• Create Stress Reports documenting analyses performed.
• Support damage and defect investigations.
• Contribute to improved sizing methods and procedures.
• Collaborate with team and maintain professional image.
