Hitachi Rail Limited is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join the Rolling Stock Engineering Department in Pistoia or Napoli. The role involves mechanical design, integration work and collaboration with suppliers under supervision.

You will prepare specifications and documentation, review designs, and support manufacturing, testing and vehicle approval activities. A Master’s in Engineering and English level at least B2 are required.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Engineering is mandatory.
• Knowledge of English at least B2 level.
• Willingness to travel nationally/internationally.

Mansioni

• Prepare System Requirements Specifications for mechanical components.
• Analyze and assess technical proposals from suppliers.
• Prepare and verify mechanical installation/integration drawings and specifications.
• Conduct design reviews with engineering managers and suppliers.
• Support manufacturing, testing and validation phases.
• Prepare BOM and ensure compliance with railway regulations.
