Job summary

WSP is seeking an early-career Environmental Engineer to join the Power & Energy Services team in Turin, Rome, Milan, Padua, Rende or Pisa. You will support renewable energy project development through defined engineering tasks and analyses under senior guidance.

You will collaborate with senior engineers and other disciplines, contributing to environmental and engineering studies, designs and deliverables. The role adapts to your background and technical interests.

Qualifications

• A degree in Environmental Engineering.
• At least one year of relevant experience in environmental engineering or related project work.
• Knowledge of regulatory codes, standards and design criteria, with experience in constraint analysis across hydrology, geology, geotechnics, EIA and landscape analysis.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, GIS and Microsoft Office; BIM knowledge preferred but not essential.
• Professional proficiency in Italian and English – clear written communication and technical writing.
• Collaborative and dependable, able to manage multiple commitments, scope, schedule and budget, and to seek feedback.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined portions of engineering tasks, analyses and deliverables with guidance from senior engineers.
• Compile, verify and correlate engineering data, and assist with designs, studies, reports and process deliverables.
• Support the preparation of material requisitions, specifications and project controls documentation.
• Use relevant computer programs to support engineering analysis, design and project deliverables.
• Coordinate assigned work with technical colleagues and other disciplines under senior guidance.
