Job summary

WSP in Italia invites applications for an internship in its Engineering Services team in Rome. The six‑month program targets students, graduates or early‑career professionals seeking hands‑on experience, practical projects and guidance from senior engineers.

You will contribute to real assignments on renewable energy projects, learn to use AutoCAD, GIS and MS Office, and develop skills in data handling, report preparation, and cross‑discipline collaboration in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Engineering; a Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in renewable energy projects and environmental consulting, including constraint analysis, environmental impact assessment, landscape analysis, hydrology, geology and geotechnics
• Curiosity and a proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS and Microsoft Office, with awareness of regulatory codes and renewable energy design criteria

Responsibilities

• Support routine environmental engineering assignments for renewable energy projects under guidance of senior engineers.
• Compile, verify and correlate project data; contribute to constraint analyses at multiple levels.
• Assist with environmental impact assessments, landscape analyses, hydrology, geology and geotechnical studies.
• Support the preparation of designs, studies, reports and technical documents using AutoCAD, GIS and MS Office.
• Coordinate activities with other disciplines and assist with project controls documentation and status reporting.
