WSP in Italia is seeking a Civil Structural Engineer to join the Power and Energy Services team in Milan, Padua, Pisa, Priolo Gargallo, Rende, Rome or Turin. You will support design and verification of structural works for infrastructure, industrial and energy projects.

You will work with senior engineers, CAD/BIM technicians and other disciplines, progressively taking responsibility for calculations, models and deliverables in a hybrid, multi-city environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years’ experience in structural design or assessment.
• Knowledge of structural mechanics, design principles and seismic engineering; familiarity with Italian standards and Eurocodes.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Excel and at least one structural analysis software.
• Experience with SAP2000, ETABS, MIDAS, Revit, BIM workflows and programming tools preferred.
• Italian and English language proficiency.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, collaborative working style.
• Academic or professional exposure to infrastructure/industrial/energy projects preferred.

Responsabilités

• Structural design and verification for reinforced concrete, steel and masonry structures.
• Modelling and analysis using specialist engineering software.
• Prepare calculation reports, specifications, quantity take-offs and drawings with CAD/BIM.
• Coordinate activities with other disciplines and participate in project meetings.
• Provide site support during construction and quality verification.
