Job summary

TGR Haas F1 Team is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer in Maranello, Italy to contribute to the car design program. You will work on initial concept studies, geometry layout, and composite assemblies, while keeping fast-paced race team demands in mind.

The role requires knowledge of F1 regulations, CAD proficiency, and strong collaboration with engineers and stakeholders to deliver compliant, high-quality components in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent required.
• Internship or Formula Student in motorsport environments is a good add-on.
• Mechanical Engineering degree with knowledge about composite materials is desired.

Responsibilities

• Design studies for the initial concept stage of the car design program, including component and assembly layout investigations.
• Knowledge of the F1 technical regulations.
• Design project ownership and completion for composite assemblies, including geometry and construction definition.
• Carry out day-to-day tasks efficiently and within agreed timescales.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high standards of service, compliance and performance.
