Job summary

SAI S.p.A. in Modena, Italy, is seeking a purchasing professional to issue and manage orders, expediting deliveries and evaluating supplier quotations.

Qualifications

• Requesting and comparing supplier quotations.
• Supporting the search for and qualification of new suppliers.
• Keeping purchasing data up to date in the ERP system.
• Collaborating with production, logistics and quality on supplier non-conformities.

Profile of the ideal candidate: Technical diploma or degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics or a related discipline. Candidates at their first job experience are also considered, ideally in the engineering or metalworking industry.

Required skills:

• Good command of English;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
• Ability to read mechanical drawings (a plus);
• Accuracy, good organisation and team spirit;
• Aptitude for negotiation.

Activities under his responsibility:
