Job summary

Bolton Group in Milan, Italy, is seeking a Junior Buyer to join the Procurement Team in Bolton Food. You will support the management and execution of procurement activities for Oils, Ingredients and Smart Fish, from creating purchase orders in SAP to monitoring deliveries and contracts.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in business-related fields, has 0.5–1 year of procurement experience, and is fluent in Italian and English (Spanish a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in Procurement or related fields.
• Italian and English proficiency required; Spanish is a plus.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Qlik Sense is advantageous.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proactive and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders and contracts in SAP and monitor procurement activities.
• Manage documentation related to purchasing operations and logistics.
• Follow up on purchase orders, monitor contracts and deliveries, including schedules and consumption.
• Support Buyers across Group entities.
• Prepare analyses and reports on price trends and procurement activities for assigned categories.

We are looking for a Junior Buyer to join our Procurement Team in Bolton Food based in Milan, Italy.

How you make the difference

As a Junior Buyer you will join our Procurement Team, supporting the management and execution of procurement activities for the Oils, Ingredients and Smart Fish categories. You will ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day purchasing activities, from the creation of purchase orders and contracts in SAP to the monitoring of deliveries and contract progress.

How your agenda looks like:

• Create and manage purchase orders and contracts in SAP, ensuring accurate and timely execution of procurement activities;
• Manage the documentation related to purchasing operations and logistics;
• Follow up on purchase orders and monitor the execution of contracts and deliveries, including delivery schedules and contract consumption;
• Support Buyers in procurement activities across the different entities of the Group;
• Prepare analyses and reports on price trends and procurement activities for the assigned categories.

Your team:

You will report directly to the Senior Buyer.

What makes you a great fit:

• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or related fields;
• Work Experience: 6 months – 1 year of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain or related fields;
• Proficiency in Italian and English is required, Spanish is nice to have;
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Qlik Sense is a plus;
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact and adapt to different stakeholders;
• Highly proactive and flexible, with strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to adapting to changing priorities and situations.
