Thales Alenia Space is seeking an Attitude and Orbit Control System Design Junior Engineer based in Rome, Latium. The role covers feasibility, architecture sizing, and in-flight support for AOCS subsystems, with emphasis on control and estimation algorithms and hardware validation.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, using Matlab/Simulink and C++ for development in a space environment, with potential travel to other sites.

Competenze

• You hold a Master degree in Aerospace Engineering with focus on attitude control or Control Systems.
• You are fluent in English with strong listening and reading skills.
• You are organized, proactive and able to work in a team under constraints.

Mansioni

• Contribute to all phases of subsystem lifecycle from feasibility to in-flight activities.
• Assist architecture sizing, technical justification and control/estimation algorithms.
• Support hardware unit specs, validation, and flight operations in Rome with travel as needed.
