Job summary

SDG Group Italy is seeking AI Engineers with 1–3 years of AI/ML experience. You will join an international delivery unit, working on projects across Fashion & Luxury, Utilities, Banking, Insurance, and Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a STEM field is required.
• 1–3 years of AI/ML/Data Science experience.
• Proficiency in Python and its ecosystem (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn).
• Familiarity with Git, virtual environments, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of ML basics (regression, classification, clustering) and experience with Generative AI tools (LLMs, fine-tuning).
• Fluency in Italian (C1) and English; language tests will occur during interview.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle AI development from problem framing to production-ready systems.
• Modeling across traditional methods and Generative AI (LLMs, Transformers).
• Industrialization and AIOps to move models to the cloud with scalable, reliable deployments.
• Cloud mastery across AWS, GCP, and Azure; leverage Databricks, SageMaker, Vertex AI.
• Translate datasets into actionable business insights for clients.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to deploy models into live environments.
